Proud Of What We Do
The Victoria Centre offers a warm, welcoming, friendly space for everyone who walks through our doors.
Through home cooked meals, a place to connect with friends and make new friends, it has played a vital role in preventing social exclusion.
We provide meals, activities and social contact for the elderly community, and this is the core ethos that we stand by, as our aim is to make sure every person over 55 in the Forest of Dean has the opportunity to have a home cooked meal three times a week.
We prepare, cook and serve meals three times a week, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
We offer a safe, warm and welcoming environment for our diners, making sure all feel comfortable. Whether you are a first time visitor or have been with us since we began, you will still feel the same warm welcome, as we continue to welcome new diners as well as serve our existing members.
As a charity, we are continually looking for funding to keep the centre going, as our meals are priced at an affordable rate which means that we have to source funding to make sure we keep our doors open to the local community.
